Art n Sole: Creative Workshop for Young People & Adults
2 April 2016

...from a battered old boot to a well-worn chopping board, objects carry our life stories
To coincide with the gallery’s Bratby exhibition join artist, Felicity Truscott, in this creative workshop where you will find inspiration both inside and outside the gallery. Using everyday items you will create art work that reveals a personal back story.
Participants will begin by talking about Bratby's work with Felicity, as well as making drawings and collecting materials around the fish stalls, boats, chip shops and amusement arcades.
Back in the studio you will experiment with making artwork directly onto found objects or items that you have brought with you.
