Thanks to all our nude participants who braved the cold and rain to support our campaign to win Spencer Tunick in the Museums at Night competition.

The group took to Hastings beach on Friday 17 January to bare all to promote the campaign to bring Spencer Tunick to Hastings for a photoshoot during the Museums at Night festival weekend in May.

Tunick is best known for his mass participation nude photo shoots, which he has undertaken in a variety of locations across the world, each unique to its context. The culturally rich and quirky traditions of Hastings and actual site location would make a wonderfully fitting context for new work by Tunick.

The flash mob made national and international news and was featured in the Independent, Huffington Post and Metro as well as publications across the world from Malta to Pakistan. On the BBC website it was the second most read story nationally over the weekend.
